Home Funeral Training

Home funerals were the norm prior to the Civil War. They are a natural, intimate choice for after-death care & memorialization of the deceased. Because we are not naturally trained in after-death care of our loved ones, we need mentoring. This training provides such instruction and mentoring.

About the Event

Individuals have the natural, legal right to be cared for by their loved ones, not only during death, but afterwards. Home funerals are created and conducted by and for the families. Home Funeral Guides are an invaluable resource for families/loved ones seeking support through the after-death & home funeral process. This 2-Part training focuses on the myriad of ways of providing this support; what they can legally do and what limitations there are. Part 1 is provided via online and is all informational, while Part 2 is hands-on practical training and a run-through of the process.
