Ethical Issues
at
the end of life
Join us for a group discussion about the complexity of end of life care decisions and the increasing challenges related to technology and care available, while balancing the rights of the individual.
Difficult decisions often arise in the final days of life for individuals in the hospital, nursing facilities and at home in hospice: what treatment should be administered, stopped or withheld, as well as, what treatment to continue or taper off.
Be a part of this important discussion about the various ethical issues many individuals and families face at the end of life.

Did you know:
-
that you can stay at home, near your loved ones, after your death, until your burial?
-
that you don't have to be embalmed?
-
that you aren't required to use a funeral home?
Our deceased loved ones used to lay in state in the home after death. It was comforting and intimate. This option is still available today.
